The Jewish Funders Network (JFN): this is a comprehensive list of many different organizations and causes that need assistance. JFN is in contact with their partner in Israel’s civil society, government and army to identify needs and opportunities for funders to help.

Kibbutz Kfar Azza is well known as the place where 40 babies were killed, among countless others.  They have lost everything, including their loved ones, their homes, and their livelihoods.

The Jewish Federation of Broward County has opened an Israel Emergency Fund to funnel vital support from our community to the Israeli people, who are reeling from the most traumatic events in its 75 years of statehood.

The Israel Trauma Coalition is the cornerstone in the national response in the treatment of trauma, emergency preparedness and a global resource. The ITC, together with its partners, established and manages 12 national resilience centers, regional training centers, provides training in clinical and psychosocial rehabilitation – family, individual and community and works to strengthen the resilience of clinical and intervention teams.

In an impressive feat of citizen mobilization, volunteers have organized to provide evacuees with food, clothing, and logistical and emotional support. Computer access is critical for families who have been uprooted from their homes and children who have been wrenched from their familiar school and social frameworks. To meet these needs, they are mounting a campaign to purchase new laptop computers for the evacuees to be used for educational purposes and personal use.
